Down Hill Biking in Åre

Downhill biking in Åre is an activity you’ll want to experience. With 50 km biking trails in total, Åre Bike Park is the most extensive in Scandinavia and has something to offer for bikers of every skill level.

Pick-up at Åre Torg between 9:30-16:30.

You can go biking in any weather. If it's raining, you can rent rainwear for free.

All the necessary protective gear is included.

Everyone between 7-77 years old. Book a guide for help.

Introductory course every morning. Start 10:15 for only 180 SEK / person.

Is downhill biking hard?

If you haven’t tried downhill before we recommend our introductory course, the course will help you to get started with downhill biking. We’ll teach you everything from how to get on a bike, essential tips and tricks, how to get on the lift and how to get down the tracks safely.

What clothes do you wear?

Shorts and a t-shirt and sneakers with a sole as flat as possible. If it’s a cold day, it might be nice to have a warmer shirt. If it’s raining, we have rain jackets for rent.

Where do we meet?

We are located in the eastern part of Åre plaza (Stationsvägen 16). Here is where you get your bike and also where we meet up for the different courses. We are open between 9:30-18:00 every day.

The lessee is responsible for the bike and possible damage that may occur.

The lessee will be liable for any damages that may occur.

You can pick up your bike after 9.30 in the morning and have to return it before 16.30 in the afternoon every day (applies even if you have rented for multiple days if nothing else is agreed upon).

To rent a bike, a valid ID must be displayed.

The extra insurance covers eventual damages on components and protective gear.

The extra insurance does not cover extensive damages on the frame.

The extra insurance does not cover theft.

You are not eligible for a refund if the booking is canceled 48h or less before the event.

Åreguiderna has the right to cancel the event if not the minimum amount of participants is met.

Åreguiderna has the right to cancel or stop the event if there is a safety risk. For example, adverse weather conditions.

If an event is canceled, the participant can request a full refund or change of booking.
